Human women wear the same big bulky armor as the human men, which makes it easy to miss that half of Stormwind's army is female. Garona is given a reasonable breastplate when she joins the humans. Orc men and women universally wear very little armor. In ''Literature/{{Mogworld}},'' it's stated you can tell an adventurer from a bandit because adventurers aim for armor plates (no matter how small), and bandits aim for squishy bits. Creator/MarvelComics' Red Sonja is the original chainmail-bikini wearer.[[note]]Though ironically enough, most artists draw her outfit as being made of ''scale'' armor rather than chainmail - possibly because scales are easier to draw than chain links.[[/note]] In an interview when she began writing for the series, Creator/GailSimone said she didn't view it as armor at all, and was surprised that people did. There's also Vena the Raven Haired in ''Literature/TheLastHero'', a ''Series/{{Xena|WarriorPrincess}}'' pastiche who, like Cohen, is pushing retirement age… and still wears her old form fitting adventuring outfit. The TBLeague 1/12 body held up pretty well to my handling, though I will admit part of me was afraid to go all out nuts. The joints within the body are generally easy to manipulate, or at least the leg and hips joints were. The shoulder joints I found got a bit tight, then loose at certain spots, particularly when raising the arms overhead. Elbows are something to watch for as I could feel the skeleton through the skin when the arm was bent - the joints were also a a bit on the tight side as well.

Inverted in ''Fanfic/ImaginarySeas''. Percy finds himself in his father's armor after being summoned into the Atlantic Lostbelt. To his embarrassment, it's [[BlingOfWar terribly gaudy]] and covers him more like a metal bra than an actual breastplate. He's thankful that it at least has pants, but it essentially leaves the entirety of his chest and abs exposed, prompting him to find a shirt to cover himself with. ComicStrip/SnarfQuest'': Some of Telerie's choices for combat attire are questionable; such as a chainmail shirt that just covers her breasts and a LadyLegionnaireWear skirt, leaving both her midriff and her legs bare. The overall points of articulation were definitely plentiful and something I'm used to (depending on the figure, of course) but range of motion is what makes this body spectacular and will hold up, presuming you don't anything super extreme.

In ''Film/ThreeHundred'', the Spartans go into combat with bare chests and bikini briefs. This is taken from the original graphic novel, where the Spartans wore ''[[MaleFrontalNudity nothing at all]]'' aside from their cloaks, which itself draws from classical Greek "heroic nudity" in art. In actual history, of course, they would have been some of the most heavily-armoured soldiers in the ancient world.

About This Game

Needless to say, chainmail bikinis are tailor-made for fantasy fans but if you have an adventurous spirit, we suggest you try it as well. It might not be your traditional swimming suit but it can definitely be a lot of fun.
