Additional Product Information There are a great many tobacco-themed fragrances out there, so there is no point in listing even the ones that contain some version of the word 'tobacco' in their names. Tobacco Touch Perfume / Eau De Parfum by Maison Alhambra is a beautiful concoction of a well-done Tobacco pipe and a delectable vanilla cake Inspired by Tomford Tobacco Vanilla. Redolent with spice, this classic unisex fragrance is further enhanced by adding creamy tonka bean, vanilla, cocoa, dry fruit accords and sweet wood sap resulting in a modern, opulent, and almost heady impression that is as radiant as it is sophisticated. A real nuzzler that will keep you feeling confident and in command whilst retaining the attention of those around you. China is the leader on the market (with over 2.5 million tons of tobacco grown yearly), followed by India and Brazil, while USA produces about 450 thousand tons of tobacco per year. Inspired by the Arabic words, ‘Latif’ for kindness and ‘Lateefa’ for pleasant, Lattafa resonates with the luxury and elegance of the Arabian culture and it vividly captures the essence of its glorious heritage in its captivating fragrance. As any natural material, tobacco absolute contains many terpenoids: linalool, linalool oxide, limonene, geranyl acetone, farnesyl acetone and many others The rosey note of damascenone is built up by phenilacetic acid and its esters. Generally speaking, esters are present in all their diversity in the tobacco scent. Certain varieties of tobacco, for example, jasmine/sweet or winged tobacco (Lat. Nicotiana alata, occasionally called Nicotiana affinis earlier in history), Aztec or Strong tobacco (Lat. Nicotiana rustica) or Petunia tobacco (Lat. Nicotiana petunoides; by the way, petunia is a very close relative of tobacco and aslo belongs to the solanaceous family) possess highly fragrant flowers. An absolute that is somewhat similar to tobacco in terms of aroma is another natural material – the absolute of Blazing star (Lat. Liatris odoratissima), a plant of the aster family (Lat. Asteraceae): sweet, herbal- coumarin, with undertones of vanilla. Combined with musks, heliotropine, ionones and cinnamon, Liatris absolute creates a very interesting and dry powdery accord. Tobacco absolute is used not only in the tobacco-themed fragrances, for in small quantities it adds depth and character to aldehydic frgrances and imparts some typical dryness to fougeres and oriental compositions. Tobacco notes combine well with sandalwood, castoreum, labdanum, sage, vetiver, cedar and violet-iris. Coumarin gives tobacco a somewhat sweet hay note (together with benzaldehyde, coumarin creates the very recognizable almond-cherry accord), while macrolactones, mostly pentadecanolide, impart the rather easily perceptible musky tone. Among odorants that shape the scent of tobacco we even find ambroxan and some similar compounds: they impart the amber accord with all its multiple facets to the tobacco scent.

Tabaxol , for instance, is an extremely intense smelling compound, but when heavily diluted it achieves a roasted, nutty, slightly meaty scent with phenolic and metallic undertones, whereas its 'big brother' mossenate is less aggressive and possesses some interesting orris and ylang-ylang notes.Tobacco absolute is a dark brown semisolid mass with a nearly repulsive odor, barely reminiscent of the scent of pipe tobacco. Classically made absolute is rather heavily colored which may lead to problems (coloring of clothes and skin), which is why it is often additionally decolorized. People make home-made absolute from these flowers, which has a deep floral aroma with notes of violet, cloves, spices and dried fruit, however the material is not produced on an industrial scale. Many amber-woody materials possess a tobacco aspect in them: kefalis, trimofix, tobacarol (a synthetic derivative of caryophylene oxide). Several kinds of tobacco have been cultivated throughout history. Primarily people grow varieties of the Nicotiana tabacum (Generic tobacco or Brightleaf tobacco). Every year, on a territory covering more than 4 million ha, about 7 million tons (!!) of tobacco are cultivated, the major part of which is then used in tobacco products manufacturing. Key Notes: Tobacco Leaf, Spices, Tonka bean, Tobacco Flower, Vanilla, Dry Fruit Accord, Woody Notes

In addition to nicotine, tobacco contains other alkaloids, for example, harmine, harmaline and tetrahydroharmine which are monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), which relates them to certain antidepressants that act in the same way. Methyl nicotinate combines warm spicy aromatic notes with a distinct tobacco tone, while damascenine (despite its name, a close relative to anthranilates) combines tobacco and floral notes. Tonkavert may also seem quite an interesting compound : chemically speaking , it is a nitril, but one can recognize notes of tonka beans and tobacco in its scent. The fact that tobacco contains physiologically active substances was known as early as VIth century BC: there is evidence that tobacco had been already cultivated. Tobacco (Lat. Nicotiana) is a genus of plants of the solanaceous family (Lat. Solanaceae). This family is represented by such apparent tobacco relatives as tomato, eggplant, bell pepper (capsicum), potato, boxthorn (better known as goji berries) as well as some very poisonous plants such as belladonna, datura and henbane. Historians think that, in the first century BC, Mayans already smoked tobacco during their not so frequent religious ceremonies, but the earliest material evidence of that are images on clay dishes from Guatemala (VII-XI centuries). Among synthetic tobacco scent shaping odorants, we find compounds of very different structure: many synthetic cariotenoids have a tobacco note, with veltonal, a Bedoukian product, being one of the brightest examples of that: an intense violet-ionone odorant with a distinctive tobacco tone and an interesting raspberry-pomegranate fruity accord.

Much like tobacco absolute, liatris absolute can be successfully combined with oakmoss, labdanum, lavender, incense, salycilates, cloves, patchouli and many other materials. The biggest contributors to the shaping of its charateristic tobacco fragrance are carotenoids: ionones and their many derivatives, damascenone, edulane and its derivatives, theaspiranes (important components of the scent of tea and osmanthus), safranal, megastigmatrienone – which is also present in osmanthus, but plays one of major roles here; Symrise and certain other companies produce it under the brand Tabanon. Tobacco Touch 80ml EDP (Eau De Parfum) By Maison Alhambra Smells Similar toTobacco Vanille By Tom Ford The tobacco absolute is derived from dried fremented tobacco leaves and here it goes basically by the book: first, the leaves are extracted with petroleum ether or hexane (they had also used benzole for the purpose earlier) and the resulting concrete is then extracted by ethanol. We offer Cash-On-Delivery (COD) facility within India. However, this facility is not available in certain cities. An important role is played by phenols ( cresols, guaiacols, eugenol and its analogs), shaping a medicinal, slightly cured accord. The derivatives of pyrazine give a nutty roasted tone, while furan derivatives impart a caramel note: the effect of 2-acetyl furan (sweet, balsamic, roasted, with coconut, almond and coffee) can be seen in Hugo Boss Baldessarini. There is also a great number of fantasy fragrances where the tobacco note is sometimes used in a rather unusual context: e.g. Parfum d'Empire Tabac Tabouwith its daffodil-honey accord, plus a tart and burnt note of immortelle; the aniseed-aquatic Tabac Licorii by Maison Incens. This Arabian Oud fragrance will be perfect for every occasion- birthdays, anniversaries and many more Fragrance Notes Tobacco absolute also contains lactones: first and foremost, the peachy gamma-undecalactone and the nutty-coconut whisky lactone with undertones of tonka beans, caramelized sugar and celery.
