Overall, this book was definitely a page turner for me and I really did not see the twist coming in the end. Its narrative complexities challenge your intellect and stimulate your curiosity, urging you to question the status quo and explore unconventional ideas. Then when life sends Violet right into his path a few months later Greyson decides to take his anger out on her. Obsessed with Grayson and his friends from the very start even though I felt like I should of hated him.

Loved the plot it wasn’t just a bully romance, a guy trying to get revenge it’s was interesting, I was hooked, it has twists.Massery is a Dark, Bully College Romance that will brutally put you through the wringer and have you obsessing over the characters, especially the MMC. I have now passed it around to all my friends and made sure they read it because it’s JUST THAT GOOD. These two circle each other as their demons come out to play, but if you are looking for sunshine and daisies, this book isn’t filled with them. But other times, it feels like he’s trying to carve out a spot in my soul for him, and that does seem nice. It was funny to me how they both took all the weird developments of their relationship in stride and didn’t stop at any point to question or be ashamed of their unusual tendencies.

Aside from throwing up, Violet barely has any reaction to these incidents and never questions why she doesn't resist. Instead of caring for the person he ended up hurting, he wants to make her life difficult, and he’s about to face her on campus after six months of healing from the accident he caused. She feels safe with a man who's told her on multiple occasions that he wants nothing more than to destroy her mental and physical health.But Violet deserves some spotlight too because that beautiful, heartwrenching, angry soul was everything. I wish I had picked this book up sooner because I absolutely Love Violet + Grayson and I can't wait to start the next in the series as Steele was a favourite of mine. Massery does a phenomenal job balancing an Alphahole psycho hero with a heroine that gives as good as she gets and matches his behavior with her very own grit, determination, sass and strength. My heart hurt for Violet and everything she went through, I loved that she wasn't a pushover with everything Grayson did.
