What let it down a little for me, is that I found the photography selected (whilst very pretty to look at) always presented an idealised view of nature… everything was pristine, in artfully muted light, and altogether felt too ‘tidy’. A no-brainer for someone like me who loves walking outdoors, adores the sea, finds birdsong soothing! Just reading snippets here and there every now and then then putting into practice can really help you feel like you’re pressing a reset button. Published in thicker than usual paper and with absolutely stunning photographs, Grounded is a sight to behold – and enjoy.
