Makes you enjoy the good and let the bad make you stronger. This books will open your eyes and help you see beyond prejudice, color of skin, social status, and gender. STILL is for sure one of those book for ME. I will never forget Grip and Bristol story. If I was captivated before with their beginning in Grip; seen the completion of their journey on Still it surpassed my biggest dreams for this couple. I knew how good Kennedy's writing is but to write a sequel that surpasses Grip to the STRATOSPHERIC MAGNITUDE of GREATNESS that it did is goes beyond my wildest dreams with this story. Grip- WOW WOW WOW......this story blew me away. Besides being a love story, it was a story that crossed race and social issues that are alive and well in this country. It was emotional, it was heartbreaking, it was thought provoking, it was loving and it was HEALING. Stories of interracial couples have stereotypes and stigmas but this author traverses the issues and displays them in a real, raw, captivating way. While the story is not all about racial difference, the love story of Grip and Bristol is full of meaningful feelings from past and present that all intertwine into a magnificent book.

This enhanced box set includes Flow, Grip and Still - all 3 books of the groundbreaking Grip trilogy. - While I read STILL I felt how impervious their love was. It showed in their words and actions. No matter how broken or vulnerable they both were they persevered because of their unconditional love and theirs was truly epic.One of many things Kennedy Ryan succeeds with in Grip and also Flow are her choice of topics and how she weaves them into Grip and Bristol's story. Especially music and race plays a huge and important role. It gives the story an edge but most importantly it also gives more depth to the characters. Not just to Grip and Bristol but also to the secondary characters. Grip is an extraordinary story with a powerful message which has to be experienced. I'm trying to explain how much this story has touched me and left me in awe but I feel I'm failing at that. Grip has been working hard to work on a mission that's very close to his heart.. he has an opportunity now to make this dream come true, to spread the word and help others. The opportunity to get closer and make his project real is finally here, he is ready to move to another city to accomplish all this.. now is just a matter of time to see what's about to unfold. What we also get is a look at their struggle. We know that Bristol is a powerhouse, and she is a boss babe extraordinaire in this book. Grip is finding his voice and his passion and begins to dig deeper into how he wants to impact the world. The pain that they experience in this book will pierce your heart, but the way this author weaves beauty into tragedy is breathtaking.

I'm not going to dive too much into the storyline cause I don't want to give anything away. If you're a true Gripstol fan STILL is a delicious dessert that'll explore this beautiful couple further, give us fans what we can expect from Kennedy Ryan and a closure that left me satisfied and satiated. Bristol and Grip are EVERYTHING . The love they share is jealousy inducing. It's real and beautiful and heart stopping. Through the years it has never diminished. Ms. Ryan paints such a magical picture of two headstrong and stubborn people- if there was ever a couple meant to be together it was these two. Kennedy Ryan always knew that she was going to grow up to tell stories, as many writers often do. The road to that being fulfilled has been one that she paved with the help or random jobs. The jobs would help her to support her family, keep them eating, and keep a roof over their heads and a house for them to live in. In my review of GRIP I said I couldn't possibly love Grip(Marlon) more.. I was proven wrong. My heart grew to make room for MORE love for Grip and Bristol. I love them both #relationshipgoals As an adult, Kerris is on the verge of starting her very own business. She’s also ready to accept a proposal in marriage and to build a life that really she has always wanted to have. The one thing that is missing in her life is some form of love. She is engaged to Cam but she wants to see the passion reignite.I was definitely wooed by Grip and his delicious chocolate charm. Marlon aka Grip isn't all about being a famous hip hop star. No, he has so much story hidden behind those good looks of his. A voice to be heard because he has plenty to say. Not just through his lyrics but also in general. A very strong opinion and a talent beyond words. He's also a good man who's been raised right by his mother in a tough environment in Compton. When he finally gains success he never forgets where he's from or the people that matter the most to him. FLOW is the prequel chronicling the week of magical days and nights that will haunt Grip & Bristol for years to come.

Kennedy Ryan's ability to craft a tale and have the reader so invested in the characters is amazing. In addition to her incredible writing I loved the poetry in this novel. I would give this novel a 6 star rating because of how much I loved it. It was an excellent read.

Don't let me keep telling you about it and GO grab your copy of GRIP and I garantee you that you will love it as much as I do and will be in a MAYOR BOOK HANGOVER when you finish. The ethos of the narrative is deeply thought provoking. Ryan once again offers a candid telling treating readers to a story full of heart and the thoughtful exploration of issues that I needed and wanted to know more about, in a sensitive and measured manner. This author showed me perspectives that I had not considered, perspectives that I did not really appreciate until this series and for that I am so very grateful.

Phenomenal characters! This story has touched all my feelings and the deepest part of my heart and mind. The development of Marlon and Bristol's relationship was fascinating. I was not only enamored but was also given food for thought. The real life struggles they endured as a couple and also as individuals was empowering. I feel like a better person after reading this.Bristols career is going great, with so many new artist and contracts under her wing, she decides to follow Grip on his moving plans.. life is about to change for both of them.. so many new challenges and new things to fight for.. but their love is stronger than ever and nothing can break them apart. I have a confession. Something I need to get off my chest. When I read My Soul To Keep etc, I didn't like Bristol and could not for the life of me understand why that lovely talented boy Grip wanted a piece of that!
