They are great for freeing up your arms during the day, but baby nests are not recommended for use during the night or for unsupervised sleep. According to The Lullaby Trust, sleeping on anything but a firm, flat surface can increase the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Thanks all for your comments. I knew it would be too good to eb true. Will have a think about sleepyhead. they're just so expensive on top of the -millions- money already spent on newborn.
