Hi all - the position of Deputy Technical Officer has been opened up, so we'll be holding a by-election to fill it. This election is a little different to our standard AGM elections, as nominations and voting will be taking place on the SU website. You can nominate yourselves here: https://www.warwicksu.com/societies-sports/societ... . To stand for election you must be a member or an associate member of BandSoc. The details of the role are as follows:

Deputy Technical Officer

• Assist the head technical officer in all matters regarding the technical officers’ duties, be that equipment purchase, events organisation, hire outs or other,
• Maintaining the Practice Room and the equipment within it,
• Maintaining all equipment under the society’s possession to a good and usable standard for society members or other,
• Audio Engineer for society events and gigs,
• Provide a guide to help their successor,
• Other tasks and duties required for the society.

Taylor Adam will fill the role until the election.

The election will be held on the SU's website, starting on Friday September 25 and finishing on Sunday 27, with details of how to vote to follow. To vote you must have held a membership of the society for at least fourteen days prior to the end of the election.

Although nominations are officially on the SU website, it would be nice if anyone interested could also nominate themselves below, just for posterity.
