If you’re in a coffee shop, if there are lots of people, the headphones won’t be able to cancel the nearby voices, but it can do a good job for those farther from you. So, overall, it’s kind of similar to the Tronsmart Apollo. Obviously, there is no hissing sound, but I do blame a slight pressure which may annoy some people that are more sensitive. Sound Quality Bass is overly present, with a large bump in the mid-bass section which has quite steep slopes on both sides. It often sits on top of mids, masking their lower section. It’s rather limited in speed, with transients being slow and then having a long decay; this makes bass not quite detailed nor layered.

If you’re doing some online holiday/Christmas shopping for yourself or a loved one and you’re interested in a bass-centric sound, but want to start somewhere cheaper than Sony’s Extra Bass lineup, these are a decent choice.Bass is to the fore, although sometimes just a little woolly but there’s plenty of detail to be heard as long as the source is good. The fit is very comfortable and the look is very subtle as far as over-ears go - I found myself only making occasional micro-adjustments, and the low clamping force means your ears won't get too sweaty, which is always a big bonus, but on the flip side it can occasionally result in some sound leakage, and comfort is optimised over noise reduction. It means that the A10 are better suited to casual listening and the daily commute over exercise, where excessive motion can result in the headphones moving around quite a bit - you'll be fine with a dash to make the train, but I wouldn't run 10km in them. The OneOdio Focus A10 boasts a sleek and modern design that features classic OneOdio elements such as concentric rings on the earcups and a foldable design. The headphones are built with a combination of plastic and lightweight aluminium for a sturdy and durable build. Additionally, the headband has soft padding to provide pressure relief while the earpads are soft and plush, making them comfortable for long listening sessions. Hi-Res Audio, Hear Every Detail – Hi-Res audio can bring punchier bass, richer details, wider dynamics, and sound closer to the original information, which can bring you an immersive experience and a fantastic musical journey TaoTronics’ budget SoundSurge 60 headphones are well made but blighted by a muddy, wayward bass, while Anker’s Soundcore Life Q20 perform well wirelessly but poorly when you use the bundled auxiliary cable.

OneOdio A10 Review | SoundGearLab

The microphone quality on the OneOdio Focus A10 is great. It’s clear and plenty loud enough for other people to hear what you’re saying. I have some reservations about the controls. For starters, the volume buttons are inverted, whereas the bottom button increases volume and vice versa. Overall, the A10 is an excellent choice for those who prioritize comfort and smooth sound over ultimate detail and accuracy. There’s ample bass without being overpowering, plenty of midrange forwardness and a clear smooth treble. Comparisons Edifier W820NB

Remarkable sound quality and noise cancelling for not much cash

The Bluetooth radio is v5.0 so there’s no issue with range – everything was still working at 12 metres line-of-sight – and battery life is pretty good. According to OneOdio, the 750mAh battery is good for 25 hours with both ANC and Bluetooth on, 40 hours of Bluetooth without ANC, and 80 hours in wired mode with ANC enabled. That chimed with my experiences running volume at around 80%. Treble is quite emphasised, with multiple peaks that make it aggressive. The peaks are concentrated in the lower and middle regions, so they are often very audible. Detail is very limited, with cymbals often sounding like a mash of sounds rather than like individual hits. Final Thoughts

OneOdio A10 review: Stunning value for money | Expert Reviews

Although the chrome ear pads are a nice touch, they catch a lot of fingerprints and tend to show off scratches and dust.

Though she is still writing for Android Authority, she went on to start writing for MakeUseOf, KOINO IT Solutions, and, of course, Review Geek. I first used these wirelessly with my phone, without the noise-canceling turned on. They were a little too boomy and dark for my tastes, even as “consumer” headphones go. Think “thumping dance club.” The nicely judged balance between bass and treble was obvious in the new album by The Slow Readers Club, “Joy of the Return”. The definition between the driving bass lines and guitar riffs that typify the recent work of this Manchester band was spot on. After enabling ANC on the OneOdio A10, I could immediately tell that it is better than on the A30 and it’s very similar to the Apollo. The passive sealing does have an important role, but you can tell that the world gets more silent after enabling the ANC On mode. One of the main reasons why ANC was developed was to limit the impact of engine noise on aircraft pilots and then it became a standard for people that travel long hours by plane. So, can the OneOdio A10 negate the droning noise?
