We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child. In particular, the damage having a government that doesn’t understand nor see the importance of British farming and the impact the current economic climate is having on farming economics. So, while he’s the first to admit that he’s still only a ‘trainee farmer’, there is clearly still work to be done.

Welcome to Jeremy's Farm- Jeremy Clarkson takes us into the pitfalls (and pratfalls) of his new life as gentleman farmer in this thigh-slapping collection. From a career as a local journalist in the north of England, he rose to public prominence as a presenter of the original format of Top Gear in 1988. Diddly Squat by Jeremy Clarkson is a rip-roaring, belly-aching, and utterly delightful trundle through the muddy fields of farming - Clarkson style.Registered office address: Unit 34 Vulcan House Business Centre, Vulcan Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE5 3EF. For the sceptics, give it a whirl; you might just find yourself chuckling despite your reservations. His trials and tribulations, from battling the weather gods to wrestling with red tape, are narrated with such wit that you can't help but chuckle. Or that it's easier to get planning permission for a nuclear power station than turning an old barn into a restaurant? Through his humorous Sunday Times columns, now brilliantly collated in Diddly Squat, Clarkson swaps supercars for tractors and takes us on a joyride across his land.

Picture this: a man known for his high-speed antics and acerbic wit, tackling the slow-paced, earnest world of agriculture. It is just an amazing book, so if, like me, you enjoy agricultural and business/ comedy books, it is a must read. to formation combine harvesting, getting tied-up in knots of red tape to chasing viciously athletic cows, our hero soon learns that enthusiasm alone might not be enough. Once again, I have thoroughly enjoyed this entertaining narrative, feeling like I was learning along the way. While his personality and outspoken nature have generated both praise and controversy, there's no denying his enduring influence on the automotive and entertainment industries. Whether you're a fan of his TV series or simply enjoy a humorous and engaging read, this book is a must-have.

There are tidbits of interesting knowledge about farming or the law and how it interacts with farmers but this is never selected into, instead the book prefers to go on raging tirades against Greta Thunberg instead. Because while he’s mastered the art of moaning about nearly everything, some of the other attributes required of a successful farmer prove more of a challenge. But he also shines a light on the red tape surrounding the UK farmer and how that affects what he can/can’t do as well as the effects on the environment and the local community. Co do typowych kontrowersji wokół autora: Tym razem Clarkson nie napisał nic o strzelaniu do ludzi, skupił się na chęci mordowania borsuków. An idyllic spot offering picturesque views across the Cotswolds, bustling hedgerows and natural springs, it's the perfect plot of land for someone to delegate the actual, you know, farming to someone else while he galivants around the world in cars.

As well as motoring, Clarkson has produced programmes and books on subjects such as history and engineering. Faced with suffocating red tape, biblical weather, local objections, a global pandemic and his own frankly staggering ignorance of how to 'do farming', Jeremy soon realises that turning the farm around is going to take more than splashing out on a massive tractor. It draws you in, and it's almost like you can hear Clarkson telling the story himself through the way it's written.
