A: Yes, Explorer 1000 supports pass-through charging. But we don’t suggest, it will cause damage to battery life. First and foremost, the Explorer 1000 Pro's capacity is nothing short of impressive. It effortlessly powers various outdoor appliances and electronics, making it an ideal companion for extended camping trips. I've used it to run my camping stove, charge multiple devices simultaneously, and even power a mini-fridge, all without a hitch. The reliability it offers in outdoor settings is genuinely commendable. Supplying 1kW of power is no easy feat. The Explorer 1000 model is cooled thanks to its built-in fan that starts working whenever there is a moderate AC load. Air vents located on both sides of the case help further cool the internal battery and inverter circuitry. As such, it is recommended to have some clearance around the power station in case of extended use to help the airflow. But the EcoFlow Delta can power entire tiny houses, so the size difference might not mean that much if you want a generator that can power almost anything. It has a cover for the 12 volt output, Goal Zero doesn't provide one on any of it's Yeti models with 12V output.

It has a 1,488Wh battery, seven total output port options, and a 500W solar input maximum that can charge the system in 3.5-5 hours.

The lifespan of the Delta’s battery is dependent on how it is used and maintained. For example, the Delta’s capacity will drop to 80% after 800 cycles of use. Green Outdoor Power Solution: Efficient solar charging with a built-in MPPT charge controller. Turn it into a Solar Generator 1000 system by connecting two SolarSaga 100W solar panels (sold separately) allows fast, eco-friendly charging. Completely charge the battery with full sun in just 8 hours. With several port options, a high solar input, and fast recharge times from the wall charger and from solar, the River Max is one of the best solar generators you can get in the 500-600Wh range.

Heavy items will require the recipient to make arrangements to take delivery of the goods and may require the recipient to help the courier unload the item. For items that are delivered on a pallet the courier will leave the pallet as close to your door as possible. The River Max has one of the best inverters in its size category, with 600W continuous and 1,200W surge power. The Delta has 800 battery cycles to 80% capacity, whereas the Explorer 1000 has 500 to 80%. This means that the Delta will have 300 additional battery charge cycles before hitting around 80% of its original 1,260Wh capacity. Using this charging will help prolong the lifespan of the battery and guarantee that the Delta is ready to recharge gear at all times.Ultra-Charging System Only 1.8 Hours: 1,002Wh capacity with an output power of 1000W (2000W Surge Peak Power). Explorer 1000 pro takes 1.8 hours for a full wall charge and a full solar charge with 4* SolarSaga 200W. Supports up to 1000 charge cycles and the low self-discharge rate allows it to last 365 days from an 80% battery level. It is also the lightest solar generator that I know of within the range of 280-320Wh of battery capacity. Yes, the Delta supports pass-through charging. However, it is not recommended to output more than 800W from the Delta while it is recharging.

The only downside that stands out to me is its weight (17 lbs). This makes it about three pounds heavier than the average 500Wh solar generator. Overall, I feel there is a balance point which can be reached, whereby you could balance a small amount of power draw (e.g. laptop and coolbox) against the input power which can be generated from two solar panels and a cloudy UK day. Is it too much stress to try and do this? Perhaps, but simply having access to free power in this way is so liberating that you cannot really complain about not getting enough power due to an overcast sky – it’s just a result of living in a country like the UK rather than Arizona! Safe & Reliable for Outdoor Camping: Features industry-leading cylindrical batteries (popular with manufacturers of Electric Vehicles) that meet UL safety standards. Certified with Impact-Resistance Class 9, passing the UL drop test (withstanding 3 drops from 0.9m height on any surface). The pure sine wave inverter delivers constant voltage that protects equipment from damage. It can power DC devices, AC devices, and USB-A devices, but it has no USB-C ports and only one AC port. This is not ideal for current-day needs, as several devices use USB-C to charge up.NOTE: Estimates are my own calculations (90% inverter efficiency for AC-powered devices/appliances)
