Connect a CORSAIR RGB Fan LED Hub (sold separately) to control lighting for up to 6x additional RGB fans I bought an NZXT internal USB hub: Neither the Commander Core XT nor the Lightning Node Core have been detected, no matter what other configs I tried on the USB-Ports. The NZXT hub does not detect the Corsair Hubs. When I plugged my Gigabyte Aio on the Hub, it has been detected. So the hub is working, just not with the corsair products. The led strips of the box and the remaining 4 QL120 fans to the Commander XT that comes with the box. But I also go beyond the 264 leds (34x4=136 + 160 = 296 leds). Each controller will need its own USB 2.0 and own Sata power I presume but as my MB has 2 USB 2.0 ports I will be forced to use USB extender (NZXT or simmilar) as they can not be daisy chained?

The best way to configure fans, controllers, and an AIO

Once you have finished setting up your COMMANDER CORE XT, you can now open iCUE and select COMMANDER CORE XT on the home screen to configure controller settings. Hi, I'm doing a build on a 5000D airflow. I bought a H150i Elite so I this for 6 of the fans. If I want to do 10 fans would you recommend buying another and going 6 fans on 1 and 4 on the other? Finish by connecting the COMMANDER CORE XT to an available SATA power connector from your power supply unit. Hi you mean, QL 120 and LL120 dont support zero RPM currently right? I met the same problem as the above mentioned, that I could not stop the fan with 0 rpm.How much RGB do you have? What PSU are you running? How many and what devices are connected to USB? I also would reinstall your chipset drivers for the MB that control the usb traffic. If this started after an OS upgrade/update, a glitch there is certainly possible. Something weird happens because uninstalling from "device manager" the USB that is plugged the Commander Core, and rebooting so Windows installs them again seems to fix the problem temporarily, al least until I shut down the PC and turn it on again the next day. If I do that, I have no problem in all day until next day. Is there a registry I could delete or something ? The 4x QL120 RGB fan (No.7) is connected to the Lighting Node Core and the PWM Repeater of the iCUE 5000x RGB case.

to: Perform a factory reset on the Commander Pro How to: Perform a factory reset on the Commander Pro

yeah that's what I guessed but I was wondering if there is anyone who actually attempted it or not. This will play a key part on which aio I am gonna buy so I kind of want to get a definite answer :(( thank you for your input. Following up on this, would a Lighting Node Pro controller work as another solution to having more than six RGB fans? Hello I am in process of assembling new PC and for that purpose I bought H150i Elite LCD which comes along Commander Core. I was thinking to build all in my current case Corsair 780t. Recently possibility arise that I can get Corsair 7000x rgb which has preinstalled Commander core XT. I am surre that this question arose like an zillion times but I am wondering what is optimal way to connect those two controllers and how to connect them. the commander pro is better if you plan on having temp sensors in your case. if not then in my opinion the commander core is the better way to go as it does the RGB and PWM in one device. To daisy chain a second internal USB device (e.g. a cooler), remove the cover of the daisy chain connector, connect to your second device, then connect the COMMANDER CORE XT to a motherboard USB 2.0 header.Based on my googling, I am assuming that this is a problem because I have a x570 mobo, but I am going to lay out my specs and all my troubleshooting so far and see if there is a fix for this. If not, I am extremely disappointed in this hardware and even more upset that I bought two thinking I just had a faulty one. Otherwise, having all six front fans connected to a COMMANDER CORE XT, and the remaining four connected to the COMMANDER CORE wouldn't be bad either! because commander PRO and commander CORE are two different things. Commander CORE doesn't even have an external rgb hub which makes it two different scenarios. Why did u bother to answer if you're not knowledgeable? Thank god I read this post - was about to exchange my Commander Core XT which came with my icue7000X.

CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT Smart RGB Lighting and Fan

With the Commander Pro, you can do a whole lot more fans by using RGB Hub Splitters. This is more difficult with the Commander Core XT. You also need to consider that your CoPro has a special firmware for your case - specifically for the front LEDs. There are folks that run ALL of the fans in the Commander Pro from a single channel in the CP this way. It makes control far simpler and, personally, I like the synchronized effects. Have 10 rgb fans hooked up. Only need those 2 devices to run everything which is a very nice change from the commander pro. The COMMANDER CORE controller that comes with our ELITE CAPELLIX and ELITE LCD coolers would work, too. The updated, low-profile design makes installation easier with embedded magnets, making it easy to install the COMMANDER CORE XT on any flat surface inside your case Hi all, I'm new and made the mistake of buying the 570X mirror case, now I have all Corsair RGB components ( plus few other brand ) 🙂

The CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT lets you intelligently control up to six PWM fans and multiple RGB components while accurately monitoring system temperatures, all from a single device. A: You'll be able to connect our 3-pin RGB devices directly to the Commander CORE XT's RGB port, eliminating the need for the Lighting Node Pro controller.

If the Com Core XT is not detected via the USB hub, then there may be a problem with the device. Does it show up in the Device Manager even though it is not in the software? My Core XT is connected to the Mainboard USB, and on the Core XT is a Lightning Node Core. On my XT are 5xQL Fans and the iCue LS100 (4 stripes). The Node Core handles also 5xQL Fans. However, absolutely nothing I do gets the iCue to detect the second Commander Core XT with the 4 exhaust fans connected to it. So far I have done the following: your SP120 fan, what model is it? if it's the one with a 3 pin connector for the motor, only the commander pro can vary its speed (DC fans) CORSAIR make a lot of products to help you control your RGB and Airflow DIY components. Before the release of iCUE LINK, we used more traditional methods to make everything work together. With the above wiring guide, you can see how to connect an H150i ELITE LCD XT AIO with 4x QL120 RGB fans. The diagram was designed around this example, but the principles can easily be used for other configurations, too. Here's a breakdown of what's going on.
